COMMUNITY INTERACTION
Community Interaction — Staying part of the places and people you love.
Independence isn’t just about what happens inside your home. It’s about staying connected to life outside it. We support you to keep doing the things that make your week yours: clubs, classes, worship, volunteering, or a walk to see friends.

FAQ
Questions families ask
What is community interaction support?
Independence is not just about what happens inside your home — it is about staying connected to life outside it. We support you to keep doing the things that make your week yours: walks, shopping trips, appointments, social clubs, day centres, exercise classes, faith groups, volunteering, and visiting family and friends.
Do you help with travel to activities?
Yes. Support includes getting there and back comfortably, with help around mobility and transport. We fit around your diary and interests, then build regular outings that give the week shape and something to look forward to.
Can this sit alongside care at home?
Yes. Community support is often combined with personal care, companionship or TEC-enabled care. Your local branch will include it in the same care plan so visits and outings work together.
